Last weekend, we took an incredible team of competitors to the IBJJF No-Gi Pan American Championship in Texas! 🥋💥 Our athletes showed up, fought hard, and walked away with some well-deserved wins and submissions. They put in countless hours of intense training and left it all out on the mats at one of the most competitive tournaments in the country. We couldn’t be prouder of their dedication, grit, and skill!
Blue Belts
In the blue belt medium-heavy division, we had two athletes representing our team:
Carson Hartz: Carson made a powerful start, winning his first match via D’arce submission. In his second match, he lost via points.
Nic Jarvis: Nic had a great first match, securing a win via points. In his second match, he lost via submission.
Purple Belts
On Sunday, two of our purple belts competed and displayed their skill and heart:
Will Seydel (Light Featherweight Division): Will’s first match was a success, winning with a D’arce submission. His second match was close, but he lost by a narrow margin of 2-0 on points.
Eric Bruening (Medium Heavy Division): Lost his 1st match via submission.
